How to treat women's hair loss?

My wife is 30 and wants to know what she can use, or what she can do to stop or limit her hair loss. Thanks. How to treat women's hair loss?
Has she had surgery or a baby or medication recently? You can have hair loss for up to 18 months with surgery or child. Medication will cause hair loss as will stress. Stress is the number one cause other than the things mentioned above.

Do a process of elimination. Is she using a metal comb on her hair or a brush when wet? Use a wide tooth comb when hair is wet...that is it's weakest stage.

Is she pulling her hair back to tight or using pins that cause stress on the hair? Try braids at night if the hair is long. Sometimes we move our heads back and forth at night and rub the hair against the pillow...try a satin pillowcase...causes less friction.

Could be bad shampoo and conditioner. If she is using the cheap stuff, go to a salon and buy some good stuff. Get a professional to give her cuts and advice on what products would be good for her hair. How to treat women's hair loss?
Well she might be pulling it out because you spend too much time on the internet.
Your wife should ask her doctor to check her thyroid levels. Low thyroid hormone can affect skin and hair.
Rogaine but once you start, you need to keep it up to maintain the hair growth.

I have been trying out a few Apivita (from Greece) products myself and I found the following products could be useful (only for limiting not curing though):

First of all, massage your scalp everyday this gets the blood flowing and really stimulates your hair growth. There are pills you can take too at health foods stores that work wonders too. Some people say if you pn the bed with your hair hanging down this helps because the blood flows there.

Hope that Helps!
there is rogaine for women now.
